Beetle Rock, Sequoia National Park, California

Located near the Giant Forest Museum, Beetle Rock is a large granite rock and a favorite location for visitors to watch the sunset.
Beetle Rock was named for a rare type of beetle, Trachykele opulenta, which was discovered at the rock in the early 20th century.
