Fog in the Redwood Forest, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, California
Coast redwood trees are the tallest trees in the world, which thrive in temperate and foggy conditions along the central California coastline. Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is located near Santa Cruz, California and contains old growth redwood trees, including some that are 2,000 years old. The misty, foggy conditions captured in this photo occurred as a storm cleared at sunset.
