Lightning Storm over the Wren Building, Williamsburg, Virginia
The Wren Building at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, houses academic classes and the Wren Chapel. The Wren Building has the distinction of being the oldest academic building in the United States in continuous use. Besides housing academic classes, the Wren building is the site of alumnus weddings, a Christmas holiday celebration called the Yule Log Ceremony, and department graduations. The building is named in honor of the architect, Sir Christopher Wren.
